ORLEANS, Vt. (WCAX) – Authorities say an Orleans man has been arrested in connection with two suspicious deaths.
Vermont State Police say Cirell Brown, 23, was arrested Tuesday and charged with two counts of second-degree murder.
It comes after the bodies of a man and a woman were found inside a home on Water Street in the village of Orleans on Tuesday at about 5 p.m. Police detained Brown soon after but announced the charges against him on Wednesday. They are not yet releasing the victims’ names.
Brown is being held without bail pending his arraignment at 1 p.m. in Newport.
