CONCORD, N.H. (WCAX) – The state of New Hampshire has rested its case against murder suspect Adam Montgomery.
The 34-year-old is facing charges including second-degree murder in connection with the presumed death of his daughter, Harmony, 5.
Harmony was reported missing in 2021 by her mother, who hadn’t seen the girl in more than two years. Harmony’s body has never been found. Adam Montgomery is accused of killing the little girl and moving her body for months before finally disposing of it.
The state called dozens of witnesses over more than a week of emotional testimony.
The defense is expected to start presenting its case Wednesday.
The judge said testimony could be done by later in the week.
