JERICHO, Vt. (WCAX) – As people are doing their spring cleaning, they’re deciding to get rid of some their clothes for a good cause.
The Community Center in Jericho hosted their third spring clothing swap. Hundreds of people donated their used clothes, shoes, and accessories and people could choose whatever items they wanted to get for free. Any leftovers from the swap will be donated to spectrum youth and family services.
“I think my favorite part is just talking to other community members and neighbors and seeing how excited people are just to get together and find things. It’s always really exciting when somebody finds something cool,” co-organizer Catherine Bass said.
The next Jericho swap will be in the fall.
