Celebration of Trees

WHAT IS THE CELEBRATION OF TREES EVENT?

This is ANEW Place’s signature Holiday event, now in its fifth year, which features beautifully decorated trees and gifts that are be donated by local businesses, churches, and individuals and then raffled off to the public. Stop by the University Mall, near Target, and check out the beautifully decorated trees while listening to Christmas music to help get you in the holiday spirit. While you’re there, you can buy raffle tickets to win a decorated tree and everything on and under it. In the past four years, dedicated community members and volunteers raised over $185,000 to support ANEW Place’s mission to provide services to adults experiencing homelessness.

Raffle tickets are $5 for one ticket or 5 tickets for $20. The Raffle Drawing for all of the trees will be on 12/15, local pick up only.

WHEN DO RAFFLE TICKETS GO ON SALE?

They will go on sale 11/28 (Black Friday) at 9am in person and online.

Visit the storefront next to Target from November 28 – December 14

Black Friday: 9am-7pm
Wed – Sat: 10am-7pm
Sundays: 10am – 6pm

HOW DO YOU WIN A TREE?

The donated trees will be displayed in a storefront at the University Mall and the public will have the chance to purchase raffle tickets to win the trees as well as everything on and under them! You can place as many raffle tickets as you like in the container corresponding to the tree you wish to win. You MUST be 18 or older to purchase raffle tickets.

DO I WIN JUST THE TREE?

Not only do you win the tree, but everything on and around it as well!

TREE RAFFLE DRAWING

Tree raffle drawing will happen on 12/15 – all winners will be notified with a phone call and winning tickets will be posted online. Pick-ups happen on December 16 and 17 between noon and 7 pm.
