BURLINGTON, Vt. (WCAX) – Canadian helicopters will now help patrol America’s northern border.
The Royal Canadian Mounted Police have deployed Black Hawk helicopters along the border — including in our region — as a part of broader security efforts.
Authorities say the helicopters may fly at low altitudes when necessary, so expect some noise disruption.
Drones and surveillance towers are also a part of the country’s renewed border patrol strategy.
