HARTFORD, Vt. (WCAX) – Police have identified the man who died in a gun-related incident in the Upper Valley last week.
Hartford Police say officers responded to a report of a shooting on January 19 on Fairbanks Turn. They found Jonathan Carpenter, 21, from Gardner, Massachusetts, with an apparent gunshot wound to the head. They say he was taken to Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center where he died of his injuries.
Authorities have previously called it an isolated incident and that all parties involved knew each other, but they have released few other details.
