Vt. lawmakers to hold public hearing on budget adjustment proposal

MONTPELIER, Vt. (WCAX) – Vermont lawmakers are seeking public input on the state’s budget adjustment proposal.

The Vermont House Committee on Appropriations is holding a public hearing Thursday at 1 p.m. to take testimony on the Governor’s recommended budget adjustments.

That includes big investments in IT, offsetting the cost of denied FEMA claims for damage to state government buildings, workforce programs, and more.
