COLCHESTER, Vt. (WCAX) – Police are looking for a suspect they say hit and injured a pedestrian with their car.
It happened on Saturday afternoon just before 5pm, Colchester Police and other emergency crews responded to the area of 1050 Bay Road for a report of a person who had been struck by a car.
Crews transported a 37-year-old man from Colchester to the UVM Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries. The suspect drove away before first responders arrived.
Police believe the car involved might be a dark colored 2012 to 2015 Honda Civic or Accord with damage to the passenger side mirror.
