KILLINGTON, Vt. (WCAX) – Another Vermont ski area is set to start up its lifts for the season. Pico Mountain plans to kick off its ski and ride season this Friday.
Going forward, the mountain plans to operate Thursday through Monday all season long, and every day during holiday weeks.
Over the summer, Pico nearly doubled its snow guns and the terrain park will be expanded this season.
For opening weekend, Pico will collect and match donations for BROC Community Action. Skiers and riders can bring nonperishable items through Sunday.
