BENNINGTON, Vt. (WCAX) – Two men in Bennington are facing criminal charges over violent attacks on Monday night.
The Bennington County State’s Attorney’s office confirms 41-year-old Brandon Graton is charged with attempted murder after attacking a woman with a hammer and knife on Pleasant Street.
Hours later, 37-year-old Joshua Crockwell was charged with aggravated assault and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon after attacking someone with a hatchet.
