Ilona Maher moves on to ‘Dancing with the Stars’ finale

BURLINGTON, Vt. (WCAX) – Vermont’s own Ilona Maher will take the world stage Tuesday night in the “Dancing with the Stars” finale.

The bronze-medal-winning Olympic Rugby player — and Burlington resident — will take the stage with her pro partner Alan Bersten to compete against four other couples.

In a post on Instagram, Maher thanked her dance partner for all the memories.

Also in the finals are Super Bowl champ Danny Amendola and pro Witney Carson; “The Bachelor” contestant Joey Graziadei and pro Jenna Johnson: Actress Chandler Kinney and pro Brandon Armstrong; and Olympian gymnast Stephen Nedoroscik and pro Rylee Arnold.

Maher became a social media sensation during the Paris Olympics for her funny TikToks and body positivity content.
