WILLISTON, Vt. (WCAX) – Have you ever wondered if you have what it takes to be a police officer? This weekend you can find out, no appointment needed.
The pop-up tests are a new initiative from Vermont State Police to recruit new troopers.
Starting at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Williston Barracks, those interested in a career with the State Police can take a physical fitness test and ask questions about the job.
VSP says same-day tests are a good way to attract potential recruits ahead of the next police academy class starting in January.
