Peru, NY, to receive $11M for wastewater upgrades

PERU, N.Y. (WCAX) – Millions of dollars are coming to Peru, New York, to upgrade the town’s water pollution control plant.

The $11 million grant is part of a program from Governor Kathy Hochul to shape up the Empire State’s water infrastructure.

The governor says the upgrades will help create jobs and safeguard the health and well-being of New Yorkers.
