Authorities identify alleged triggerman in Vermont double homicide

BURLINGTON, Vt. (WCAX) – A Vermont man has been charged in connection with a double homicide investigation in Eden.

The U.S. Attorney for Vermont says Theodore Bland, 29, of Stowe, is the one who pulled the trigger, killing Eric White and Jahim Solomon, both 21 and of Massachusetts, who were found dead in the woods of Eden.

The feds say it was part of a drug dealing ring.

WCAX News first reported the connection to Bland back in February.

The feds say they connected him to the homicide using social media messages. They also say Bland asked others to help him move the bodies to where they were found in Eden.

Bland is set to be sentenced on federal drug charges next month but prosecutors have asked the judge to keep him in custody when he serves his time for the drug charges.
