BURLINGTON, Vt. (WCAX) – Police say a Burlington woman was taken into custody for allegedly threatening people with a knife.
Officers were called to Main Street just after 3 a.m. Saturday for a report of a person armed with a knife.
Police say their investigation found Victoria Sherman, 33, of Burlington, threatened three people with a kitchen knife.
She was taken into custody and is due in court Monday on charges of aggravated assault.
Police say Sherman has a lengthy criminal history, including failing to appear for court proceedings 10 times, four felony charges and 69 misdemeanor charges.
