WATERBURY, Vt. (WCAX) – Vermont has been picked as one of 10 states to join the CCBHC Medicaid Demonstration Program.
The program is called Certified Community-Based Integrated Health Centers (CCBHC).
It aims to expand access to mental health, substance use and crisis services.
Vermont’s designation as a demonstration state will provide additional Medicaid funding to the Clara Martin Center and Rutland Mental Health Services, which are currently provisionally certified as CCBHCs. The goal is to have the sites fully certified as CCBHCs by next July.
