CONCORD, N.H. (WCAX) – People must now be 18 to get married in New Hampshire.
Gov. Chris Sununu signed a number of bills into law on Friday, including one that raises the age of marriage.
SB359 raises the legal age of marriage to 18. The previous age was 16.
The move comes after years of advocacy to raise New Hampshire’s marriage age.
