BURLINGTON, Vt. (WCAX) – Police say a fatal crash on I-89 in Colchester involved a pedestrian.
It happened just before 9 p.m. on Monday in the northbound lane.
Vermont State Police aren’t releasing any information other than that it was a fatal crash involving a pedestrian on the interstate.
I-89 in that area was down to one lane for a few hours overnight but both lanes have now been reopened.
State police say that the crash reconstruction team was on the scene overnight and will announce more information as the investigation continues.
