WINOOSKI, Vt. (WCAX) – Winooski on Friday kicks off a weekend celebration of music, arts, food, and drink.
The Waking Windows festval started in 2011 as a small affair at the Money House bar, turning into a mega attraction drawing more than 100 local bands prior to the Pandemic. Since then it has ebbed and flowed but it’s still going strong, with local bars, restaurants, and shops hosting music and other acts late into the night. The action heats up on Saturday and Sunday with the headliners at Rotary Park.
Ike Bendavid has a preview.
