JAY, Vt. (WCAX) – A man is due in court Monday to answer to reckless endangerment charges.
According to Vermont State Police, 34-year-old Danny Gosselin was traveling on north Jay Road around 1:30 on Saturday afternoon when a man shot a pistol in a reckless manner near him.
The incident triggered a ‘shelter in place’ order for residents in the area.
After calling the police, troopers, Vermont Fish and Game, and the Sheriff’s Department responded. They took 56-year-old Benjamin Zev of Jay into custody without incident.
He was processed and released and is due in court on Monday.
