Pedestrian hit by car in Burlington

BURLINGTON, Vt. (WCAX) – A pedestrian was hit and injured by a car in Burlington Tuesday morning.

Burlington police say it happened at about 8 a.m. in the crosswalk on North Avenue at Poirier Place in the city’s New North End.

The pedestrian was taken to the UVM Medical Center. We don’t know the severity of that person’s injuries.

Police are investigating the incident.
