Structure fire in Brattleboro leaves residents displaced

BRATTLEBORO, Vt. (WCAX) – A fire in Brattleboro has left three people without a home tonight.

It happened just after 5:30 p.m. Friday evening. Fire crews responded to a structure fire on 108 Oak Street.

When they arrived, a third-floor unit in the building there was enveloped in flames. They put out the fire in 45 minutes and no one was injured, but the three occupants and their pets are now displaced.

Brattleboro fire is investigating the cause of the fire.
