BURLINGTON, Vt. (WCAX) – A Vermont woman accused in the murder of her husband has changed her plea to guilty.
Angela Auclair is accused of murdering her husband, David Auclair, with the help of her son Kory Lee George in July 2019. Angela Auclair was originally accused of planning the murder, but after George took a plea deal to testify against her, he stated that it was actually Auclair who pulled the trigger.
Now, nearly four years after David Auclair was found shot to death at a Hinesburg trailhead, Angela Auclair on Tuesday changed her plea to guilty to conspiracy to commit murder. She faces 18 years to life in prison. Sentencing is set for April 29.
