BURLINGTON, Vt. (WCAX) – A call for sponsors to ensure kids eat well when school is out of session.
The Vermont Agency of Education is looking for sponsors for their Summer Food Service program.
Also known as Summer Meals, the federally funded initiative helps feed Vermont kids in need when they aren’t in school.
Sponsors can be supervisory unions, school districts, non-profit camps, and government entities.
