PLATTSBURGH, N.Y. (WCAX) – Two Quebec companies are expanding into Plattsburgh.
Motion Composites, a manufacturer of high-performance wheelchair frames, will move into the Air Industrial Park on Route 3. And the North Country Chamber of Commerce says Vortex Aquatic Structures Aquatic Solutions, a manufacturer of waterslides and other water park equipment, will move into the former Plattsburgh Air Force base.
“They will be open by spring — I can’t share numbers yet. They won’t be in the hundreds but they will be in the dozens at some point — really good, high-quality manufacturing employment and we are happy to have them here,” said the chamber’s Garry Douglas.
Motion Composites plans to bring in 25 new jobs.
