Police seek surveillance video related to fatal Upper Valley shooting

HARTFORD, Vt. (WCAX) – Authorities say they continue to investigate the gun-related death of a man in Hartford, Vermont, this past weekend.

It happened around 2 p.m. Sunday near Fairbanks Turn. The Hartford Police say officers responded to a report of a shooting and found the male victim with an apparent gunshot wound to the head. They say the man was taken to Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center where he died of his injuries.

Police say they searched a home at 235 Fairbanks Turn on Monday. They also say autopsy results of the male victim are “undetermined” pending further investigation.

Authorities are asking residents of the Fairbanks Turn, Hillside Road, or Quechee Main Street neighborhoods to contact them with any pertinent video surveillance footage.

Police previously said all parties involved in the incident knew each other and that it was an isolated incident.
