ST. JOHNSBURY, Vt. (WCAX) – A sixth person has been arrested for allegedly helping Scott Mason, the man who shot St. Johnsbury’s police captain, escape.

Vermont State Police say 45-year-old Tracie Largy of St. Johnsbury was arrested today on a charge of accessory after the fact.

Largy was issued a flash citation to appear in court tomorrow for an arraignment alongside the five other suspects arrested for assisting in the escape.

Captain Jason Gray was responding to a domestic violence incident at Mason’s apartment. When officers arrived, Mason fired a gun at them, hitting Captain Gray.
