BURLINGTON, Vt. (WCAX) – Tens of thousands of dollars in federal funding is coming to our region to boost housing.
The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development announced more than $701,000 to be allocated to the Brattleboro, Burlington, and Vermont State Housing Authority. New Hampshire will receive $863,000.
The $140 million disbursed nationwide is part of HUD’s Family Self Sufficiency program, which provides funding to state housing authorities to support assistance for families seeking housing.
