BURLINGTON, Vt. (WCAX) – A Vermonter in need is getting a new ride. Good News Garage in Burlington gives away refurbished donated cars.
This year they’re donating a car to a mother from Bakersfield Vermont.
Good News Garage says with higher car prices and lower public transportation options — they need car donations now more than ever. They say hundreds of families are stuck without transportation.
The “passing of the keys” event is at 10 Monday morning.
