PLATTSBURGH, N.Y. (WCAX) – A Plattsburgh city councilor has resigned.
Jacob Avery, who represented Ward 2 in the city, resigned on Wednesday effective immediately.
Avery said it was not an easy decision but for family reasons he decided to step down.
