BRATTLEBORO, Vt. (WCAX) – Brattleboro is among towns offering free downtown parking during the holiday season.
The town recently moved away from traditional meters to a kiosk system where you can pay with coins, credit card, app, or even by text.
Officials say the meter poles were easily damaged, time-consuming to manage, and made snow removal difficult.
Now, they say the kiosks will keep the downtown looking its best all year long.
