MONTPELIER, Vt. (WCAX) – Tuesday is Human Rights Day, and a meeting in Montpelier aims to highlight how far Vermont still has to go.
Tuesday at noon, the Vermont Human Rights Commission is making its case for increased funding.
In a virtual meeting, the commission aims to shed light on its work in advocating and protecting human rights in Vermont.
The event will feature testimonies from community members, advocates, and officials who have witnessed firsthand the impact of the commission’s work.
