LUDLOW, Vt. (WCAX) – A major residential housing project connected to Okemo Mountain in Ludlow is moving forward.
The plan is to build roughly 208 ski-in-ski-out housing units at the SouthFace Village, including mountain chalets and townhouses.
Development officials say about one-quarter of the units have already been built and are now occupied.
While the project is completely separate from the Okemo Ski Resort, SouthFace Village built its own four-person chairlift to give residents access to the slopes.
A second double-chair is in the planning stages once more houses come online.
