Pets with Potential: Meet Ali, Evie, and Twilight & Doppler

SPRINGFIELD, Vt. (WCAX) – This week’s Pets with Potential come from the Springfield Humane Society.

Ali is a handsome, 60-pound, 2-year-old German shepherd. This guy came in after his owner could no longer care for him. Ali is a sweet boy but does take some time to warm up. Once you are his friend he is a goofball that loves to love you. He is dog-friendly and lived with cats. He enjoys the company of women more than men so will need a home with a patient man or women only.

Evie is a one-year-old hound mix who came in as a very pregnant stray. Shortly after, she gave birth to 10 puppies that have all found loving homes. Evie loves people and food. She is good with dogs but wants to chase cats. Evie was adopted but had too much for her adopters. Now that she’s no longer a mom, she has way more energy and will need a strong owner who enjoys training.

Twilight and Doppler are 7-month-old female and male kittens hoping for a home together. They were born in someone’s barn but are socialized. Twilight is more confident than her brother but he has come very far in a short amount of time. Both enjoy pets, and Twilight will thank you with a kiss. They are very cat-friendly but have not been around dogs. They do not have to go together, but priority will go to a home that wants them both.
