DUMMERSTON, Vt. (WCAX) – A Brattleboro man is dead after a car crash on Route 5.
State police say it happened before 9am Sunday morning.
Troopers responded to a crash on Route 5 in the town of Dummerston, and found the car off the west side of the road, down an embankment and against a tree.
Crews pronounced 32-year-old Thomas Stockton Jr. dead at the scene.
Initial investigation shows Stockton was driving southbound on Route 5 when he left his lane and drove off the west side of the road, colliding with the tree.
