NH affordable housing lending program provides progress report

CONCORD, N.H. (WCAX) – A New Hampshire program set up two years ago to finance affordable housing says it has helped create 4,657 units statewide.

The Invest NH Housing program provided an update last week to Governor Chris Sununu and the Executive Council.

Officials say the $100-million investment by the Department of Business and Economic Affairs in 2022 has helped finance projects across the state.

It offers grant money for affordable housing developments, grant money per unit, and money to demolish dilapidated properties.
