BURLINGTON, Vt. (WCAX) – You could be one step closer to a new, more affordable home on Friday.
The Mobile Home Infill Program kicks off to allow Vermonters to buy affordable houses at cost.
The idea aims to free up their homes for other Vermonters.
The state has identified 57 lots up for grabs from Bennington to Milton to St. Johnsbury.
The goal of the program is to help ease the housing crunch for the middle class.
If you were impacted by flooding, you can apply on Friday.
The application opens for everyone on November 15th.
