PLATTSBURGH, N.Y. (WCAX) – Champlain Valley Educational Services, a New York regional educational service agency, is celebrating 75 years of serving the North County.
The agency serves 16 school districts to provide things like food services and technical education for high school students.
CVES’ superintendent says they hope to continue to expand services for students in the future, including creating a new technology center to help kids develop the skills they need before they graduate.
“Let’s remember the strength of BOCES, not just here in the North Country, but across our entire state lies not just in the programs we offer or the services we provide, but the partnerships we cultivate, the lives we touch and our lives together to make a difference every day,” said CVES Superintendent Mark Davey.
The public was invited for a free tour Thursday of the CVES Conference Center in Plattsburgh.
