BURLINGTON, Vt. (WCAX) – Vermont’s Agency of Transportation is bringing back the ‘Name a Plow Program’ for its third year.
The program invites Vermont schools to name the state’s fleet of 250 big orange snowplows.
This year, the goal is for young Vermonters to name the trucks with new names, with no repeat names already assigned to trucks.
In addition to the plow trucks, they’re also inviting schools to enter submissions to name the AOT’s new truck with a 21-foot wing that will be used to clear Interstate 89.
See here for more information on how your school can enter a name into the program.
