CLAREMONT, N.H. (WCAX) – Police in New Hampshire say they had to give Narcan to a baby found overdosing from suspected fentanyl ingestion.
Claremont police say they were called to the area of Main and Union streets for a report of an overdosing baby in a vehicle.
An officer administered Narcan to the 9-month-old. The child was rushed to the local hospital and later airlifted to Dartmouth-Hitchcock.
Investigators believe the baby ingested the fentanyl at a residence in Charlestown. They say charges are forthcoming against an adult who was home with the child at the time.
