PLATTSBURGH N.Y. (WCAX) – Labor Day weekend may have come and gone but North Country residents are finding an opportunity to celebrate with a hot dog.
Tuesday is the first-ever Michigan fest at the Clinton County fairgrounds.
The town of Plattsburgh is the home of the Michigan Dog, a beef hot dog with a meat sauce on it.
The event will celebrate the Plattsburgh specialty as well as benefit the Battlefield Memorial Gateway Project, an organization honoring veterans in the North Country.
