RUTLAND, Vt. (WCAX) – A group of bakers made culinary history over the weekend in Vermont with a record-breaking dessert.
It happened at the annual Rutland Whoopie Pie Festival.
Dream Maker Bakers out of Killington took the title for the largest whoopie pie in the world.
The tasty creation weighed in at 1,187 pounds.
The recipe included more than 100 lbs. of butter and a pair of 200-lb. pieces of cake.
