BURLINGTON, Vt. (WCAX) – Work is underway in the Memphremagog watershed with a focus on conservation.
Almost $900,000 has been awarded in the first round of the Memphremagog Clean Water Program.
7 organizations received funding for a total of 12 projects to improve aquatic habitat.
The program is funded by the Great Lakes Fisheries Commission with the goal of improving the lake’s habitats and facilitating conservation efforts in the area.
