Caledonia County Fair to donate proceeds to flood relief

BURLINGTON, Vt. (WCAX) – Fun kicks off in the Northeast Kingdom on Wednesday as the Caledonia County Fair gets into full swing. Wednesday night in particular is dedicated to a special cause.

The gates open at 4 p.m. and all of the fair’s share of proceeds from Wednesday will be donated to a Northeast Kingdom flood relief fund.

Fair organizers say they are also seeking donations from partners and vendors as well as accepting donations from the public.

The Caledonia County Fair takes place in Lyndonville – one of the towns hard hit by flooding in mid and late July.

The fair runs through Sunday and includes agricultural competitions, live music, carnival rides, and a demolition derby.
