BURLINGTON, Vt. (WCAX) – After years in the making, you could drive on part of the Champlain Parkway as early as this week.
The parkway from Home Avenue to Lakeside Avenue is still closed, but project organizers say that once necessary work is done, the stretch could be open early this week.
As of Monday, the road is closed to cars, bikes, and pedestrians, but officials say that once it’s open, it is intended to stay that way.
