MARLBORO, Vt. (WCAX) – Vermont State Police are investigating after a pedestrian was struck by a car and died.
It happened around 11a.m. Saturday morning. VSP responded to a call that someone was hit by a car on Rte. 9 in Marlboro in the area of Hogback Mountain Overlook.
Police pronounced 74-year-old Constance Vrooman of Marlboro dead at the scene.
The crash is still under investigation, police have yet to list any charges for the driver.
