Shelburne man arrested for alleged aggravated assault

BURLINGTON, Vt. (WCAX) – One man is facing charges after allegedly hitting someone with his car.

Around 10:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Vermont State Police responded to an incident report near Sand Road in Ferrisburgh.

Police say that 46-year-old Peter Hoehl of Shelburne used his car to cause serious bodily injury to a household member.

Hoehl was transported to the New Haven Barracks and later released on conditions.

He will be in court this afternoon, facing charges of First-Degree Aggravated Assault and Recklessly Endangering Another Person.
