BURLINGTON, Vt. (WCAX) – Vermonters now have a new way to report impacts of flooding online.
The Vermont Department of Forests, Parks, and Recreation has launched a flood impact survey with the goal of understanding the impact on Vermont’s forest economy.
Forest businesses and landowners that were impacted by flooding earlier this month are asked to complete the survey.
The department says compounding challenges for people working in forest-based industries have left many business owners struggling, and the survey will help capture the scope of the damage.
