BURLINGTON, Vt. (WCAX) – A $9 million renovation of the Hilton Burlington Lake Champlain is complete.
The hotel is now called “Hotel Champlain” and includes new community spaces, a new entrance, an all-day café, and a seafood restaurant. State Treasurer Mike Pieciak was at the re-opening, excited by the hotel’s value to the state.
“It helps grow jobs, it brings people to Vermont, it helps bring conferences to Vermont, it helps bring people to downtown Burlington which is also desperately needed, so all around it has a big beneficial impact on our economy,” said Pieciak.
The hotel is also partnering with local businesses to offer made-in-Vermont items and snacks.
