BURLINGTON, Vt. (WCAX) – Furry friends await their forever homes at Homeward Bound in Addison County.
Iris is a 1.5-year-old Terrier mix. Shelter staff say she has a goofy and loving personality, can chase tennis balls all day long, and loves the outdoors.
They say she can live with certain dogs and teenagers, but not cats or younger children. They say she has made huge progress in her confidence, but still needs some help feeling comfortable in her new home.
Minerva is a four-year-old kitty looking for a warm lap to snuggle in. Staff say she loves to play with her toys, roll around in blankets, and keep you company.
She’s okay with some cats and good with dogs.
Silky the rabbit is hoping, or rather hopping, for her fur-ever home. She’s seven months old and just gave birth to eight healthy babies. Staff say she’s a sweet and gentle rabbit who seeks out human attention, and she even loves to be cuddled and held.
She has lived with other bunnies and a cat before and is adaptable to most surroundings.
